Up to 24 hours before the tour: 100% refund, no questions asked. The refund is processed back to the original card via Thawani within 5–7 working days.

Under 24 hours, or no-show: 50% refund, or full credit toward another tour within 12 months.

If we cancel (weather, road closure, guide illness): always 100% refund, plus a 15% goodwill credit toward your next tour.

Group bookings (6+ travellers)

Group bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the tour follow the same per-person rule above, but the deposit (if any) is fully refundable up to 7 days before.

Every WikiTours guide carries a current first-aid certificate, a satellite-comms device on remote routes, and the right kit for the activity. Helmets, life-jackets, and harnesses are inspected before every tour.

We carry a Sultanate of Oman tourism licence and full third-party liability insurance up to OMR 100,000 per person.

Your responsibility

• Tell us about medical conditions when you book — not on the day.
• Follow the guide's instructions on the trail. They have final say.
• Bring suitable clothing and water — we list what to bring in your booking email.

We collect only what we need to run your tour: name, email, phone, date, traveller count, and any notes you write. We never sell or share your data.

Payments are processed by Thawani — we never see your card number. We keep a payment reference for refund purposes only.

You can request a copy of your data, or have it deleted, by emailing wikitoursoman@gmail.com.

By booking with WikiTours you confirm: you are physically able to do the activity you've booked, you have valid travel insurance covering adventure sports, and any minors in your party are under your direct supervision.

WikiTours reserves the right to refuse or end a tour for any traveller whose behaviour endangers the group, the guide, or the environment — without refund.

Disputes are resolved under the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
