Oman is famous for its intriguing, rich culture, and it is an absolute joy to see how that culture is reflected in the finest details — from authentic Omani cuisine and traditional markets to historical forts, castles, and old lanes that have stayed almost untouched. It's also one of the few places in the Gulf where you can hike a mountain at sunrise, dive a coral coast at lunchtime, and pitch a tent in real silence by night.
